A True Wonderwall

Dated: 07/08/2014

I have a problem of low blood pressure and a defeated immune system. I kept falling sick every other day. I missed a few of my classes thinking that I NEED to rest else I'll not survive. But that day when I saw him I realized something. He was right there, sitting in front of us, the students, with that never-dying smile on his face. Nobody could even have a vague idea of what he was going through. He was burning. With that right posture and determined attitude he even made the passing seconds jealous of him. Dauntlessness! I made a promise to myself that day. A right caliber is all I would have to make myself a worthy human to exist. I'll be a derring-do, just like him, a splitting image, for he is a perfect example of a true mentor, a Guru. My Guru!

Petrifaction at its best. It's just a matter of discipline. Discipline sets you free. Be free, live free. Stay petrified!

I look back and think

Dated: 03/03/2014

Well, I am 20 now. My teen is now my past. All those silly fights with friends, trusting someone, breaking your heart, feeling all alone, getting back to normal, chasing your dreams and doing things all over again. Some think this is stupidity. Some think it’s a waste of time. However it was, this was my teenage life.

Getting up early in the morning for a walk with my brother and dad, playing silly treasure games there, getting drenched in the rain and feeling so much alive at that moment, watching cartoons and playing games. These things slowly changed to hanging out with friends, wanting to get attention of the people around you, following your crazy dreams, falling in love, breaking your heart, feeling all confused, low and sad.

But this was the time where you live. Do whatever you want. You have lesser responsibility and more time to do anything you want to. I wish I could have made the most of it. I miss my teenage life. However it was, it was my time, my way and my life.

I know those days can never come back and all we have is the memories of everything. Like good or bad or sad or happy, everything is yours and no one can take it away from you.

A piece of free advice I wanna give you is be it any circumstance that you come across in life that breaks you down, just remember this simple thing; you are young. So shut up and enjoy life. Up’s and down’s are part of our lives. Without facing the down’s you would never know how actually it feels while you’re up.
So, live your life with that amazing smile on your face. Be petrified and spread all the love you have inside you. Nobody can break you down. Stay blessed, stay happy!

The Youth Inspiration - Purvi Sekhani

#Blog7                                                                                                                       Dated: 04/01/2014

We youth are deviated from our goals very easily. We find the less necessary things very appealing and we tend to waste half of our lives just for that short-lived happiness. Living our lives without killing the time is the task here; as we all know that time waits for nobody.

Then we go for all those inspirational books and magazines to clean our minds from all the dirt. Some get inspired by the people in the past who have achieved great things in their lives like Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi , Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama and the list goes on. But the thing what the youth wants is the inspiration amongst them, the inspiration that will make them understand what it exactly means to achieve something. Hark! I got some help here.  I got this one-of-a-kind, happy-go-lucky and always smiling girl as the youth inspiration. Purvi Sekhani! And guess what? It’s her birthday today!

There is no other proud moment when you type your name on google and it talks only about you. Purvi Sekhani , the HMR Brand Ambassador – College Students category had done that already; to have the right poise, bearing that amazing smile all the time, being determined and proving herself as an all rounder.

Purvi Sekhani, you make me proud. Happy Birthday! God bless you. Keep petrifying people and be petrified. Spread the smile!

The Unconditional Love

#Blog6                                                                                                                          Dated: 24/11/2013

Our parents, the most selfless human beings on this planet are the people whose contributions in our lives go unnoticed most of the time.

We teenagers in our lives concentrate on the things that fascinates us a lot. We want to hang out, go for movies, play and shop and do everything that makes us feel great. Sometimes we get carried away with people around us. We get tied in the game of superiority. If she has it, I got to have it. If you are getting a lot of attention then the others crave for it. They get jealous. So you got to maintain yourself.

All this while do you realize who are the people that help you get all the stuff you want as and when you ask for it? You want to have new clothes, you want to look cool so that you get along with other so called cool guys around and you don’t want to feel left out. Who helps you with all of these?  #Parents.

It’s awful that we take them for granted. We demand things from them. They get it for us but sometimes they couldn’t. We get pissed off. Our parents are still the same. This is their selfless love. This is what makes us feel at home when we are actually home. We are comfortable here. We can do anything we want. We live peacefully and do whatever we want here. After a long tiring day we want to go back home. Why home? Why is it so peaceful there? Do you realize what parents do for you even when you don’t realize that they are actually doing it? Oh god, I love them so much.

My dad gets scared when I freak out with things around me. He tries to explain me the universal truths of life and the benefits of being peaceful. Freaking out is like self destruction. Why do you want to do that for yourself? You love yourself and your parents love you too.

My mom is the most wonderful person I’ve ever met. She sometimes leaves me awestruck. From waking us up from the bed till we get back to sleep she is right there for us like all the time. She prepares my breakfast, my lunch, worries about whether we had it properly, worries about my health. She couldn’t eat, sleep or do anything for a whole day when she knew I was unable to breathe properly when I got up one morning.

Our parents do so much for us. Isn’t it petrifying? Whatever we try doing for them is just so less! But still we can do a small thing. Have an attitude of Gratitude. Say thanks. Realize what they do for you to make every second of your life go with no hindrance. Tell them you love them. Trust me they are dying for a simple gesture of yours.

Be happy and spread the happiness around. Hasta la vista Niggers! You make me proud.

All Things Bright And Beautiful

#Blog5                                                                                                                          Dated: 21/11/2013

There is one truth common in everyone’s life. People come, people go. No matter how close we are to them and no matter what we do for them, one day when you wake up to find them gone. Why?

Let’s face the universal truth. People move on. They go for things and people who make them feel better. They start accepting the love they think they deserve.

I love making friends. I simply love to. Learning new things, talking about random stuff and feeling happy about it. They come to add the amazing moments in my life.  Life is all about appreciating their presence. Life is too short for complaints. We feel sad when we don’t get the required attention from the person we love. And doing stuff with that thought in mind will eventually make you lose the person. We fear about fights, they will arise. We fear hatred and hence we face the same.

A person’s distinguished only with two things: their thoughts and actions; and rest is the same. So we must do a simple thing.  Start appreciating instead of complaining. A person is like a flower. We love them. But if we pick them up they die and it ceases to be what you love. Love is not possession. Love is Appreciation.

Just imagine a world in which everybody appreciates. Life would have been so simple. It’s just that we choose to make it complicated. We have one life. Show that person how much you love them. Get them roses. Do things you want to do for them now. Do not be hesitant.  Keep no regrets.

Don’t hate, appreciate. Be simple. Be petrified with all things bright and beautiful. Peace out!

The Mayonnaise Jar

#Blog4                                                                                                                          Dated: 09/11/2013

Sometimes we get so busy with our lives that we get carried away with what life brings for us. Just in case you are one of them, I wanted to share a story with you.

When things in your life seem, almost too much to handle,
When 24 Hours in a day is not enough,
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class
and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly,
He picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar
And proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students, if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar.   He shook the jar lightly.
The pebbles rolled into the open Areas between the golf balls.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full.  They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'
This is WORTH spending 2 mins to read.

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively
filling the empty space between the sand.  The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor,   as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
The golf balls are the important things - family,
children, health, Friends, and Favorite passions –
Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, Your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, house, and car.

The sand is everything else --The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,'  He continued,
there is no room for  the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff,
You will never have room for the things that are important to you.

Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play With your children.
Take time to get medical checkups.
Take your partner out to dinner.

There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.

'Take care of the golf balls first --
The things that really matter.
Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.'

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled.
'I'm glad you asked'.

It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem,
there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'

A good story right? Now I think of The Mayonnaise Jar and prioritize things well. Let's understand our lives better. Together. Good day!

Lunch time. Perfect time.

#Blog3                                                                                                                          Dated: 18/10/2013

Lunch times can be boring to some, time to socialize for some and even works as a power break for some! Isn't it amazing how a particular hour that is available to the whole world without any bias have different effect on each of their lives?
Well, I wanna share a few things that must be done on a lunch break:

1. Leave your desk (Gluing your eyes to the computer screen even while eating? That's like a mental torture for me. And there are many dangers associated when we sit for too long. So, walking to another room to have lunch is Important)

2. Go Outside (This is what I love doing the most. Stepping outside the office just to go to the washroom to have a look on the mirror is very refreshing for me. I know that's funny but I love it. Go out and have juice with your friends. Sun rays even helps you with Vitamin D. Lol.)

3. Exercise (You can't literally exercise of course. That'll be funny. But walking up and down the stairs can help.Steve Cooper, editor-in-chief of Hitched Magazine, says he runs during his lunch break every day. "The sweat, the fatigue, the endorphin rush all give me a boost in the afternoon and into the evening," he says. That's like amazing. It even sharpens your mind. Trust me.)

4. Read (Reading is a good habit. I love reading. Not the books like your textbooks or anything, of course. That'll make me have a trauma. You can read magazines, watch good movies like an Inspiration Overload. Sounds funny but it does work.)

5. Eat healthy (The food that goes inside our body gives us strength to work for the whole day. And a recent study even proves that people who have a regular healthy diet are 25 percent more likely to be high performers. But I don't mind having Mc Donald's French fries once a month. That'll be refreshing.)

6. Don't Over-eat ( Sometimes we think - 'Why do we feel sleepy sometimes after having lunch?' I understand its your favorite food and I understand you can't resist. But ladies and gentlemen, keep this thing in mind: Over-eating reduces your blood sugar and that will make you feel tired and even depressed. Well, that's actually depressing. Avoid it.)

7. Grab lunch with Friends or Colleagues (Eating alone is a real bad idea. You can even use this time as 'Socializing time'. You can build relationships and have fun.)

8. Sometimes lunch with Enemies too! (Successful people really don't have the time to hold guilt or bear grudges. They forgive and forget. They play safe. Simple.)

9. Music Music Music (Turn on the radio or your music player and listen to the music you love. Avoid ear plugs. It refreshes and recharges you. It decreases our tension and stress level. You can work more effectively after that.)

10. Take Naps (I love taking power naps when nobody's noticing me that much. People around me might think that I'm tired or didn't have a good sleep the previous night but that's not true. Our body needs an afternoon nap. Atleast for seven minutes. Just imagine having Nap rooms at your office? As, It's not exactly how many hours we are sitting at our desks, but how present are we when we're there.)

Try doing the above things and you'll surely be petrified. Thank me later, okay?
